REBUILDING: Maintaining Mercy & Grace During Trial

Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

I find that delivering Grace while maintaining mercy is more difficult than believed. People are unusually cruel and destructive in their ways. They seem to thrive on others struggles and tend to take every opportunity to remind us of our inequities and even try to make some up at times. However, I stand firm in forgiving them and Loving them even as difficult as it seems at times. As we try to be more Christ like this becomes easier in most cases.

God wants us to deliver Grace to others as he would even in the daily trials we face. God is with us in each step and knows what we are capable of handling and will not give us more than we can handle. God wants us to succeed and promote His Kingdom. What better way than to display the traits we look to Him for? What better way then to look at those who would ridicule or taunt us and express the Mercy we have learned from our Fathers Grace. Showing them Love when it isn't merited. Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people. That could change entire communities if it would just catch on. We have a choice to be bitter and worldly or to glorify our King by taking the path less traveled.

By following the direction our Lord and Savior has placed in front of us, He will surely bless us as a reward for our obedience. God doesn't want us to fail, in fact he wants nothing more as a Father than to see us succeed. All through out the scriptures are wondrous stories of our Fathers Mercy and Grace applied in times where the world definitely did not deserve it. If we could only show a fraction of what Jesus applied than we could effect lives around us in such a positive way. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Let's Pray: Father God, thank You so very much for the Grace and Mercy You show us daily Lord. Please forgive us for our sins and help us walk in Your steps and deliver the same Grace and Mercy to those around us Father. Father help us glorify You Lord in all that we do and we ask all this in Jesus name....AMEN.
