What About Tomorrow?

James 4:14-17, How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil. Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

What will your life be like tomorrow? Well I know I don't have a clue, none of us do. The only guarantee I have is my salvation. Can you say that? Can those around you? Yesterday we spoke about witnessing to the lost. I light of a recent news tragedy, I believe I am led to question, Have we done everything to prepare for tomorrow? Have we received Christ by asking for our forgiveness? Have we asked others for forgiveness? Have we forgiven all those who offended us, moreover forgiven ourselves? Have we truly let those around us know exactly how we feel? Have you told or shown your spouse how much you Love them? Your children? Have we told or shown others in our lives the same? Hebrews 3:13, But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

The first order of business, is our salvation. In these days we could be gone at a moments notice. Are we prepared? Have we asked our Father to forgive us? I believe that the times that are upon us that this is something that just cannot wait. If you do you risk much more than our minds can comprehend. So I implore you waste not another minute and stretch to Jesus. Ask Him to forgive your sins, take a leap of faith. What do you have to lose? It doesn't cost anything, but a moment of your time, yet the payoff is eternal. There is no retirement plan that beats His plan. I Promise. Just start a conversation with God and the rest will come. I will include in the prayer the words for your guidance. Acts 3:19, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."

Now that you have secured your salvation, have you forgiven others and asked for their forgiveness? Let not another minute pass bye. Give those you love and those you don't freedom from your offense and forgive them. If you have offended reach out to them and ask for their forgiveness. Not only will you feel liberated, you will gain Gods grace. Make sure that you truly forgive, just going through the motions will not find that grace, remember God see yours heart of hearts. Dig down, you can do it and give it your all. Matthew 5:23-24, "So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." You will be blessed beyond your understanding. Read the entry "The Letter", and as yourself do you want to be this person? I know I don't, so I fight for what I believe to be Gods will, and I hope that letter will start you thinking about what truly matters to you. So waste no more time follow your heart and Gods will for your life. Matthew 6:14, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you."

Lastly, have you reached to those you care about and truly let them know how you feel. We should take every opportunity to let those we care about, know how they are appreciated and Loved daily. Any of us could be lost and called home tomorrow, so we want to make sure we are truly letting all know our true feelings. They deserve to know as do we, our time here is short, sometimes too short. God has a plan and none of us can pretend to know it or understand it. The one thing I do know is I choose to act as Christ would and only speak life from now on, to show those around me how much I truly Love each and every one. In Jesus name, never miss another opportunity to pray with them, share with them the positive things in Life. Join me in this celebration of a new dawn. A new perspective and fresh look on what is to come. I promise the days will seem much brighter, the colors much more vivid and let God will be praised from your new lease on life. 2 Corinthians 6:2, For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is NOW. TODAY is the day of salvation.

Let's Pray: Father God, Thank You for this new day. Father Thank You for the opportunity to tell those we Love them. Father, we come to You, humbly, and ask fro your to forgive our sins. Allow us to forgive others who have sinned against us. And Father in Jesus name allow us to ask those for forgiveness. Father show those who are praying this for the first time how Loving You are. Let them feel You move as they ask for your forgiveness. Lift them up Father and bathe them in You grace. Father show each of us how to show all in our lives the Love and compassion You show Father. Thank You for giving us another day, so that we may not squander this chance to reconcile and reinforce the relationships around us Father. We ask only that You continue to guide us in this unknown walk Father, but we choose to believe in you, to believe you can fix all things, you can heal all issues and that You Father, if we just give them to You. Father we ask you give those the strength to pray this prayer so they may be saved and walk in the light. Thank You for all that You do and we pray all of this in Jesus name....AMEN.
